Where to Invest Today

A free, open financial dashboard for everyone.

About the Platform

WIT (Where to Invest Today) is a personal project built to make it easy for anyone to explore global financial markets in one clean, fast dashboard. Track stocks, indexes, commodities, currencies, and cryptocurrencies — all in real time, with no sign-up required.

The platform covers major exchanges including Euronext, NASDAQ, and the S&P 500, along with commodities like Gold, Silver, and Brent Oil, top cryptocurrencies, and key currency pairs. Each stock detail page includes fundamentals, Graham's Fair Value analysis, financial statements, and interactive charts.

WIT also features a growing library of educational articles covering topics from reading balance sheets to risk management strategies, plus a comprehensive financial glossary with 30+ terms explained in plain English.

How It Works

WIT uses a background data pipeline that continuously fetches and refreshes market data every four minutes. When you open the dashboard, all data loads instantly from a pre-built snapshot — no waiting for dozens of API calls. This architecture ensures a fast, seamless experience even during high-volatility market hours.

The dashboard is organized into intuitive sections: market indexes (S&P 500, DJIA, NASDAQ, Russell 2000), a Fear & Greed gauge, sector heatmap, top movers, trending tickers, earnings calendar, commodities, currencies, and extended-hours trading. Each stock has a dedicated detail page with multi-year financials, analyst targets, and technical indicators.

Editorial Philosophy

Every article on WIT Blog is written with three principles: accuracy, accessibility, and independence. We explain financial concepts in plain language without dumbing them down. Formulas are shown alongside real-world examples so you can apply what you learn immediately.

WIT does not sell financial products, recommend specific stocks, or accept payment for coverage. All content is educational and aims to empower individual investors to make their own informed decisions. We believe financial literacy should be free and available to everyone.

Data Source

All market data is powered by Yahoo Finance. Prices, fundamentals, financial statements, and news are fetched in real time. Data is provided for informational purposes only and should not be considered financial advice.

Created By

WIT is a personal project created by Anderson Lopes. Built with curiosity and a passion for making financial data accessible to everyone.
